Study Overview:
In one randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study which examined the effects of four weeks of L-theanine (200 mg/day) on stress-related symptoms and healthy brain function in healthy adults. The study suggests that L-theanine may support feelings of worry and sleep quality (measured by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index). It also indicated L-Theanine may support healthy brain function, and response to daily stress.
